Farida Guitar
Elderly Instruments, a long-time friend of the Santa Fe TradFest, is celebrating their 49th year as a family-owned business by donating a beautiful Farida OT-62 dreadnought guitar. An impressive slope-shoulder dreadnought guitar, the OT-62 combines modern guitar building techniques and time-honored American design. With a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this guitar has both the look and the sound of a coveted vintage guitar. Other features include an acacia fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, vintage-style 3-on-a-plate "arrowhead" tuners, and a gloss sunburst finish. Also included is a hard-shell case, humidifier, and three extra sets of strings.
The package has an estimated retail value of $580 (plus shipping from Lansing, Michigan).

Recording King Guitar
Santa Fe’s own home for acoustic (mostly) guitars from intermediate level to rare vintage guitars and small lutheries has donated a Recording King 000-style guitar (RO-T16). A great guitar for flat picking and finger style – a bit smaller than a dreadnought so it’s more comfortable for smaller players. A $500 value.
