Songwriters Showcase
Curated by Bill Leeman and Matthew Hecht, the annual Songwriters Showcase at Santa Fe TradFest kicks off our festival at 3pm on Friday, August 22.

Apply to be a part of the Showcase by August 1 via Google Form. Applicants will be asked to provide information about themselves and links to media and music.
​
Ten performers will be selected to play for about 10-minutes each (approximately two songs).
​
The Next Stage: Youth Band Showcase
New this year, The Next Stage is a competition for bands comprised of members under the age of 18. Prizes include recording session at a studio in Albuquerque, an electronic press kit, and t-shirts from previous year’s festivals.
​
Bands must pre-register by August 15. Bands cannot be larger than 7 members, and the music played must be within the style of music presented at Santa Fe TradFest including including Bluegrass, Old-time, Hispanic, Native American, African American, Cajun, Celtic, or other traditional music and dance of other cultures.
